Quirky is a community company that works on the mission to make the invention possible,means It works on simple method ,if you have a idea submit it on quirky ,then community will vote for it and quirky team will design ,produce and sell them.Original inventors receive 80% credit for their ideas as well as a share in royalties once the product is on sale by PBQ{POWER BY QUIRKY).
How one can start with quirky
You have an ideas which can be tangibles for an average category person,you can submit it on quirky .Quirky will accept the submission of those projects which are tangible and can make life somewhat easy.So, before submission you have to research about your product patent and already existence status. Quirky will accept only fresh tangible product invented ideas.
When you are done with prior level research about product you can submit it on quirky for invention. Quirky has 5 categories of projects:-
- features
- inspiration
- sketches
- 3d models
- pitch
Your invention should complete all projects.
You can make your project by own or can take help of other community member which you find suitable for your project .You can select your team by seeing Their profile and Their traits.You can invite members to join your project.
You have to assign a fixed % of influence or say stake for each project.
How quirky works
When you done with selection of contribution to your project you have to present it in front of EVAL.EVAL is a live quirky product evolution process.
So before presenting your product to EVAL make sure your invention has fulfill all project category .You have to choose right contributor for each category to present your invention to EVAL.
After presenting your invention in the live quirky evolution process which is scheduled on every Thursday at 7pm EST.If your invention gets majority of the audience,then it will presented to quirky category partner.
If your invention wins over the majority of the audience at Eval, it will be presented to Quirky category partner. If it gets the green light, your invention moves into development.
How you will get paid
Stake generate from invention sell
When your product start selling you can start earning . You can request for earning after accumulating $50.
As a inventor you will earn 80% of your invention selling revenue .you can keep it yourself and can share with your community partner for project contribution.
Remaining 5% is reserved for Eval Queue projects (public). The remaining 15% is reserved for post-Eval projects (public).

Royalty
When quirky partner commercialize a product quirky will pay 3.5%royalty for $ 500k community payout to all influence earned community members.
Which will step down up to 1.5% according to product life cycle.
