In my last blog I discuss about that how one can make career as a cartoonist ?Now I will discuss about the skills or task which one have to be to make money as cartoonist.As I have said earlier that, being a cartoonist one must have to be an enough amount of dedication,passion patience or creativity.
Here below you find the steps to become a cartoonist
1 . Have patience and dedication
This is the most important thing for a cartoonist. You have two ways first one is do your job ,take fixed amount of salary ,feed your family,pay your debt.
second one is ask yourself “Is this really my passion? What do I want to do in life? ” if your answer is yes than you have to fight for your dreams ,remember fulfill your dreams is not an easy task.
so you must have patience because, you will not succeed in your first attempt you have to face many failures but if you will keep power and patience ,never give up and be continue with your work or efforts you will definitely success.
2 . Keep learning
This is another very important point if you really want to grow as a person and as a professional cartoonist.
A golden rule is that you need to be curious, about life and everything that related to your niche .you have to be updated what is happening around you? I mean to say what is going on in animation field and last but not least , open your mind towards: comics, movies, books,series and animation.
This will increase your sources of inspiration, and your art and improve your professionalism.
3. Be original
In order to learn drawing is essential to take real subjects. This is important in order to draw in any style, both in comics and in that cartoon illustration, and in any other form of modern art.
This is necessary because if you will copy, it will not be real ,this will suffer your career. Because your work is not your it’s a copy of other work.So its better for you be creative or original in place of coping someone other work. remember this thing always “ never copied your competitor always try to do your best” .So be original always.
4 . promote your work
you can advertise or promote you work on blogs,websites or social media sites like face book ,pinterest or LinkedIn.
you can create a blog on free blog sites like word press or blogger. In my suggestion use word press in place of blogger.
you can make a page on Facebook like bewkoof.com
you can use your linkedin account for your cartoonist work advertisement and can use pinterest also.
you can make a Gig on fiverr.
5. Use technology
This is technology era and you have lot of thing that you can do with your computer, there is graphics, animation and digital coloring and free softwares.you can use

6 . Compare Your Work With Others
you should compare your work from other cartoonist work .This will increase your skills and you will learn some new things and increases your experience. Never compare for coping ,compare their work for learning and enrich your knowledge.Of course compare to recognize and appreciate the artists and professionals of value and deal with them, even knowing them personally.In the last I will say ”The only way to enrich yourself is never stop to learn!”
