Each persons as some hobby,interest as well as speciality whatever you want to say .If  I say that you can make money from your hobby or even you can become an online seller with your hobby then what will your reaction?
Today i am going to tell you about online craft selling websites where you can earn from your handmade,unique or craft items.

Yes, it is true that you can make online earning from crafting or your handmade products.
There is a famous quote from scott alexander “making money is a hobby that will complement any other hobbies you have, beautifully.”
Your hobby can also make you a leader in that niche. There is famous quote “if your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” So today I am going to tell you about a largest marketplace,where you can make money from your crafts.


 About ETSY 

Etsy is a marketplace, where all over world people connect online or offline and buy or sell unique items or goods. Etsy provides a marketplace for crafters, artists and collectors to sell their handmade creations, vintage goods (at least 20 years old), and both handmade and non-handmade crafting products .For start selling on ETSY you have to registered yourself on ETSY which is free.
ETSY has three categories for selling items:
1 Handmade item
2 Vintage goods
3 Craft items
You can sell your items keep mention the above three categories. For selling on ETSY you have to make your own  shop on ETSY fulfilling  their guidelines as a seller.

After completing all above steps you have to registered yourself as a seller and have to decide a name for your shop.If you have a name in mind, first make sure it’s availability. To check, enter the name in Shop Setup (in cas you don't have a shop yet) or Shop Settings (in case you already have a shop.)

What you need as a seller

To become a seller on Etsy, you have to provide a valid credit card for verification purposes. Seller registration through PayPal is available as an alternative to credit card registration for members.

How you will paid by ETSY

There are  two ways of payment 
First is  Direct Checkout, their easy-to-use payment system,in this method buyers pay with their credit or debit card in their local currency and you ( seller)  receive the funds to your bank account in your local currency.
Second is payment can be made though as PayPal, check, or money order.

  1. PayPal charges a flat $.30 per transaction plus 2.7% of the total money collected (item price + shipping).  Paypal takes the fees out and adds the remainder to your Paypal balance, which transfers easily to your regular checking or savings account.
  2. Direct Checkout charges a flat $.25 per transaction plus 3% of the total money collected (item price + shipping).  Etsy takes out the Direct Checkout fees before making the remainder available in your Shop Payment Account.  Deposits are made weekly into a bank account of your choice.  With the push of a button, you can request  for  a deposit be made sooner. 

Fees/charges of ETSY

 Joining and setting up a shop on Etsy is free. Each item listing on Etsy costs $0.20 USD. A listing lasts for four months or until the item is sold. Once a sale occurs, they charge a 3.5% as a transaction fee on the item’s sale price. Here you have an opportunity to review and accept the fees that you will be charged prior to publishing a listingIf you opened a sho for first time than first 40 listings will be free.

Fees for listings and transactions are accrued on your monthly Etsy bill. At the end of each month ETSY add up all your fees, and email  your monthly statement to you. You must have to  pay your bill by the 15th of the next month using either the credit card on file or PayPal.
Now you have a question why i am talking about Ebay ?The reason behind this is that ,the item that are succesful on ebay ae new/old retail items. Buyers on ebay are not looking for original content and crafts/handmade items. That's why i am talking about ETSY here.
